Life is amazing at constantly throwing new, yet unseen challenges at you.
Say you’ve never faced a similar situation, these are the options you have:
- listen to your gut and use your life experience.
- ask your friends and family for advice.
- look for decision frameworks of experts that did extensive research on or have qualified experience with the exact or similar challenges as the one you’re facing.
Chances are that you’ve faced such a challenge already. And will be facing many more.
All of the options above may lead to the „right“ decision. However, their efficiency often varies.
The fastest way for me to get out of the „I don’t know what to do“-state (in addition to seeking the advice of experts) is to do research through reading books about the challenges I am facing at the moment.
As I read, I am looking for frameworks or little hints (I call them „golden nuggets“) that 10x my ability to generate a decision that I feel comfortable about.
On this page you’ll find the books that helped me to come up with decisions or solutions that I felt confident about.
If you click on the links below the book, you will find my personal summaries containing lots of golden nuggets that I hope will also impact your life in a positive way.
